One thing

You can’t do it all.

Well, not all at once anyway.

Start with one thing.

Get it to done.

Then move onto the next one thing.

Focus.

Finish.

Go again.

“Until my One thing is done, everything else is a distraction.” – Gary W. Keller

“There’s no such thing as multitasking.” –  Jim Loehr

Go connect

We are human.

We seek connection.

We are wired to connect.

Who have you connected with recently?

Reconnected with?

Did you expand your network?

Not just for the sake of expanding.

But expanding intentionally.

With like-minded professionals.

Or even those that challenge your mind.

Did you help others connect?

Make introductions within your network?

Connecting connections.

Making the network stronger.

Go connect.

“Deep human connection is … the purpose and the result of a meaningful life – and it will inspire the most amazing acts of love, generosity, and humanity.” — Melinda Gates

“We are hardwired to connect with others, it’s what gives purpose and meaning to our lives, and without it there is suffering.” — Brené Brown

Was that worth it?

Was that it?

That little thing?

It was hardly worth getting riled up about really.

It won’t be thought much about tomorrow.

It will be a dim memory in a week.

It won’t even be a memory in a year.

What was the problem again?

“People could put up with being bitten by a wolf but what properly riled them was a bite from a sheep.” – James Joyce

Same as …

It’s the same as last year.

It was the same last month.

Same thing last week.

Even yesterday.

It’s just the same as last time.

Until you stop approaching it the same.

It will continue to be the same.
