Discussions to deliverables

It’s amazing what happens when the right people get together.

Discussions and debate.

Energy and epiphanies.

Agreement and alignment.

Collaboration and Commitment.

Though there is still much more to do.

Outcomes and ownership.

Follow up and follow through.

Deadlines and deliverables.

Implementation and embedding.

Then there will be an amazing result.

“Coming together is a beginning, staying together is progress, and working together is success.” –Henry Ford

Your welcome

What was the welcome like?

You will tend to remember the extremities.

Whether it was extraordinarily great.

Or disappointingly awful.

You probably shared the extreme experience.

As it was remarkably worthy of sharing.

So how do you think your welcomes are remembered?

Perhaps others found them remarkable.

For which extremity, well that is up to you.

“The more we feel concern for others and seek their well-being, the more friends we will have and the more welcome we will feel.” – Dalai Lama.

“There is little in life so reassuring as a genuine welcome.” – Robin Hobb

The continuum of clarity

It might be a little vague.

Be lacking clarity.

Don’t worry.

You may have a bit of an idea.

A general direction.

Don’t worry.

The definition will come.

The details will be fleshed out.

The scope will become clear.

Don’t worry.

You will work it through.

And work thought it.

You will just need to be comfortable with the areas of grey along the way.

Don’t worry … you’ve done it before.

“In a world of increasing grey areas, we are becoming more and more entrenched in black and white positions.” – Paul Bettany

“Most of life is grey, with a little tiny bit of black and white.” – Bill Henson

Logging out

It’s okay to log out.

To take a break.

From the socials and apps.

From doomscrolling.

To stop watching or listening to the media.

With all the associated advertising.

Cease the negativity.

The unsolicited input.

Take a time out.

Reduce the screen time.

Turn it off.

Unfollow.

Unsubscribe.

You can log in again at any time.

You have the power to choose what you let in.

You always have.

Be purposeful.

Be intentional.

Okay, ready to log back in now.
