With the time that is left

What are you going to do with the time that is left?

In the meeting.

This afternoon.

Today.

Before bed.

This week.

On holiday.

This month.

For the project.

This Year.

With your parents.

While travelling.

Over your working career.

With your kids.

With your grandchildren.

With your significant other.

With the rest of your life.

There’s so much time left … and then there’s not.

“As you get older, don’t slow down. Speed up. There’s less time left!” – Malcolm S. Forbes

“You may delay, but time will not, and lost time is never found again.” – Benjamin Franklin

Onwards and upwards

When it all becomes too hard … onwards.

Go on.

Hang on.

Carry on.

Crack on.

Take it on.

Soldier on.

Brush up on.

Continue on.

When it all goes wrong … the way out is up!

Chin up.

Step up.

Buck up.

Show up.

Shape up.

Harden up.

Pick yourself up.

Keep your head up.

Onwards and upwards!

“Keep your head up in failure, and your head down in success.” – Jerry Seinfeld

“Life has a way of testing a person’s will, either by having nothing happen at all or by having everything happen at once.” – Paulo Coelho.

It’s only a moment … take it!

If you need some space, find it.

Slow down and take a breath.

Take some time.

Take as long as you need.

Centre yourself and go again.

Look after you first.

Then you can look after others.

There will be moments when you think you couldn’t possibly stop or pause.

That’s the moment you should.

Take a moment.

“The best way to take care of the future is to take care of the present moment.” – Thich Nhat Hanh

Nothing left …

Sometimes you’ve got nothing left.

Nothing left in the tank.

Nothing left to give.

Nothing left to lose.

Nothing leftover.

Nothing left to add.

Nothing left to take away.

Nothing left.

Nothing more.

Nothing.

“I feel thin, sort of stretched, like butter scraped over too much bread.” – Bilbo Baggins, from J.R.R. Tolkien’s “The Fellowship of the Ring”.
