Where in the world …?

The world has so much to offer.

Where do you want to go?

What do you want to see?

What do you want to experience?

How do you want to make an impact?

What do you want to be?

Okay … by when?

Release your inner child

Be playful.

Be enthusiastic.

Keep the heart and mind young.

Keep being curious.

Daydream.

Release your inner child.

The world is full of wonder.

“That’s the real trouble with the world. Too many people grow up.” – Walt Disney

“Do not grow old, no matter how old you live. Never cease to stand like curious children before the great mystery into which we were born.” – Albert Einstein

“When you are curious, you find lots of interesting things to do.” – Walt Disney

Seeing further is to find realisation

A guest post … provided by a long time HorrieM Blog subscriber. Thank you Ray Thomas.

The answer has always been in the question!

But the question can always be misleading, especially when your eyes are asking the question!

You see something and act.

You look at things in a clear way.

What you see is what you get.

It is correct because you have just seen it.

You must head in the direction you can see.

It is obvious because it is there before your eyes.

However, stand back, wait a minute.

Is the path as clear as you can see?

Is there more to what is in front of you?

Will you be just one of many to take the same predictable path?

The answer is always in front of you, you just need to look deeper into it.

“To see is to realise! To see further is to find realisation.” – Ray Thomas (2014)

Travel. Explore. Experience.

It was organised well in advance.

It has been something to look forward to.

Going far away seemed so far away.

And now it’s here.

Time to travel.

Time to explore.

Time for some new experiences.

Even better if you can give those experiences to someone else.

“Travel isn’t always pretty. It isn’t always comfortable. Sometimes it hurts, it even breaks your heart. But that’s OK. The journey changes you; it should change you. It leaves marks on your memory, on your consciousness, on your heart, and on your body. You take something with you. Hopefully, you leave something good behind.” – Anthony Bourdain

“The world is a book and those that do not travel read only a page.” – St Augustine

Note: The next few HorrieM posts will very likely and unapologetically have a travel flavour to them. Adiós, Au revoir, Cheers!
