Are you winning?

Are you winning?

Winning in the great race of life?

Who are you racing?

You are not in competition with anyone but yourself.

You have your own lane.

You can go as slow or as fast as your growth allows.

Your growth.

Nobody else’s.

So stop beating yourself up.

Worried?

Are you worried?

What in the future are you presently worried about?

Okay, now think about those worries from the past that never transpired.

Why did you expend so much anxiety and energy on something that didn’t occur?

Stop the worrying.

It may never happen…and usually doesn’t.

And if it actually does happen…worrying doesn’t change the outcome.

Your unique you

You are your own unique you.

You are different.

You cannot be anybody else.

And we are all different.

Our differences add to the diversity.

It brings richness to our lives.

Your difference is your diversity.

Your difference is your normal.

Embrace your difference.

Your uniqueness works for you.

So work it.

A sense of urgency

When you’ve decided it is important, then act with urgency.

Acting with a sense of urgency…

…generates action.

…demonstrates resolve.

…feeds determination.

…transmits to those around you.

…creates momentum.

…builds intensity.

…produces energy.

…gets things moving.

…engages others.

…gives confidence.

If it is important, then get to it.

“Without a sense of urgency, desire loses its value.” – Jim Rohn

Choose wisely

Saying “yes” to one thing means saying “no” to many others.

Saying “yes” to one project means saying “no” to other projects.

Saying “yes” to a friend means saying “no” to other friends.

Saying “yes” to one request means saying “no” to many other requests.

Saying “yes” to a priority means saying “no” to other priorities.

Saying “yes” to happiness means saying “no” to things (or people) that add stress.

Saying “yes” to one idea means saying “no” to many other ideas.

Saying “yes” to others means saying “no” to yourself.

Choose wisely.

What have you been saying “no” to…?

Your opportunity

The opportunity was there the whole time.

The opportunity was always there.

You just had to find it.

Be open to it.

Prepared for it.

The opportunity has been waiting to be discovered.

It has been waiting for you.

Now you have your opportunity.

What are you going to do with it?

The next challenge

The challenge seems large.

It seems larger than you.

If you stop, it will remain large.

So you must keep going.

You keep chipping away.

Continuing to make progress.

Making the challenge smaller and smaller.

Until it is no longer a challenge at all.

Then it is onward to the next challenge.
