When are you ever given more time?

“I don’t have time!”

How often have you heard this?

How often have you said it yourself?

Well, it seems you might have plenty of time right now.

To read that book.

To start writing that book.

To sort those photos.

To go through the stuff in the _____.

(Garage, shed, spare room, cabinet – insert whatever is relevant for you here.)

To create.

To paint.

The wall or a canvas.

To experiment.

To garden.

To renovate.

A room or your thinking.

To innovate.

To cook.

To learn.

Don’t squander the time that has been given to you.

Besides, what else are you going to do?

“The two most powerful warriors are patience and time.” – Leo Tolstoy

“I wish it need not have happened in my time,” said Frodo.

“So do I,” said Gandalf, “and so do all who live to see such times. But that is not for them to decide. All we have to decide is what to do with the time that is given us.”

– J.R.R. Tolkien – The Fellowship of The Ring
